Digityroma – a new chapter for digital learning for roma

The main activities of Digity Roma:

  • Design and piloting of an Open Educational Resources (OER) capacity building programme tailored to the civic knowledge and digital skill gaps of Roma adults
  • Design and develop a Manual for Adult educators on How to organise Digital Storytelling trainings with Roma, as a tool for enhancing civic engagement and democratic participation of Roma.
  • Piloting the local training with Roma learners
  • Dissemination campaign & exploitation activities.

Within this context, the main objectives of the Digity Roma project are:

  • to enhance skills & capacities of at least 60 Roma adults in terms of civic education for democratic participation through the OER course platform and mobile app.
  • To develop and promote 10 role-models’ videos for Roma civic engagement and democratic participation.
  • to train at least 12 formal and non-formal Adult Educators in using Digital Storytelling as a tool for enhancing civic engagement and participation of Roma adults.
  • to train and develop the Digital Storytelling skills of at least 25 Roma community members from all partner countries on using Digital Storytelling as a method of civic education and participation.
  • to develop 10 Digital Storytelling activities/Digital Stories overall for addressing Roma challenges and point of view of civic engagement and participation of Roma
  • to reach at least 150 stakeholders, Roma, and pro-Roma organisations through National Info events.
